Douglas High senior Thomas Wicker was named to second-team All-American for the Under Armour College Golf Combines.
The Golf Channel announced the selections Thursday. Wicker was one of 40 players out of 400 competing in the national combines selected to the All-American teams. Only 10 first-team and 10 second-team selections were made.
"Combine is the one true measure of an athlete's potential," Brian Griffin, senior director of performance training for Under Armour, told The Golf Channel. "Under Armour is committed to combines in all sports for the purpose of making all athletes better through passion, science and the relentless pursuit of innovation."
The selection of the All-American teams came from a player's tournament round, as well as skills and driving results at the six regional combines.
Manogue's Alex Phillips was named first-team All-American on the girls' side.
