A 26-year-old Minden man, on probation for vehicular manslaughter, is to enter a plea April 13 in district court to possession of methamphetamine.
Jerett McAlister waived his right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday. In exchange for a guilty plea two other drug charges are to be dropped.
East Fork Justice Jim EnEarl set an April 14 hearing on a probation violation charge against McAlister.
He was arrested March 15 after his probation officer was tipped that McAlister allegedly was selling methamphetamine.
He remained in Douglas County Jail after EnEarl refused to change his $10,000 cash bail.
McAlister was found guilty Feb. 18 of vehicular manslaughter in the July 15, 2009, death of Christopher Medina, 22.
EnEarl sentenced him to 180 days in Douglas County Jail, suspended, and placed him on two years probation for the misdemeanor offense.
