Douglas County authorities are investigating a break-in at the Fox & Hound on Tramway Drive in Stateline early Tuesday morning.
The incident was reported after the tavern's manager received a phone call from the alarm company at 5:45 a.m.
The manager told deputies that when he arrived at about 6 a.m. he found the back patio glass door had been broken. Deputies said they found glass from the right side patio door inside the business, and two barstools knocked down.
The cash box of one of the countertop poker machines had been pried off and removed. Deputies said pry marks were found where the box was removed.
As deputies were conducting their investigation, a cash box was located on Ann Court in Stateline. The box was the one missing from the bar.
