With winter over now begins roadwork season. A road crew will be working on the two miles of Kingsbury Grade from Highway 50 up from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. today. Expect travel delays of up to 20 minutes. Shoulder work is continuing on Genoa Lane 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. every day until April 21.

It looks like we're going to have at least half a nice weekend with partly cloudy skies on Saturday and a high cracking 60 degrees. But Saturday night the next pulse comes through with winds 10-20 mph and gusts as high as 30 mph. Sunday will see mostly cloudy skies with a chance of showers. Sunday night, the chance increases and could turn to snow in places.

Today on the other had is expected to be gorgeous with sunny skies, a high that will probably climb past the 62 degrees that's forecast and a light breeze. It's 35 degrees in Minden just before dawn, and 37 degrees up on the bench in Genoa.
