Grand opening entertainment at CVI
Entertainment during the Carson Valley Inn's grand opening celebration is presented 6-11:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 7 p.m. to midnight today and Saturday in the Cabaret Lounge.
Jojo Hahn plays today, Saturday and April 20-22. Hahn plays piano, guitar and sings covers by Cat Stevens, Van Morrison, Dave Matthews Band, Collective Soul and Coldplay.
George Pickard plays through Sunday. Pickard does impressions of Kenny Rogers, Ray Charles, Conway Twitty, Johnny Ray, and plays hits from Creedence Clearwater Revival, the Animals, Chris DeBurgh and Elvis. He wrote the jingle used in CVI commercials.
Nancy Barker, April 19-20. Vocalist and keyboard player Nancy Barker offers rhythm & blues, standards, jazz and rock 'n' roll. Her 30-year career includes touring with Helen Reddy and performing solo at the Disneyland Hotel.
