RENO, Nev.- Ed Rogers' walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth gave Reno a series split on getaway day, as it beat Salt Lake 7-6 on Thursday night in front of 5,606 fans at Aces Ballpark.

Reno took the lead in the first on a Jeff Bailey two-run home run to left, his second of the season. After tacking on four more in the second, the Aces would hold the lead until Hank Conger's two-out, ninth-inning solo home run tied the score at six.

Reno would come back in its half of the ninth, when Sean Coughlin led off with an opposite-field double. After a sacrifice bunt and two intentional walks, Rogers fouled off a suicide squeeze attempt before lining the game-winning single to left.

Reno starting pitcher Bryan Augenstein tossed five innings, allowing four earned runs before giving way to the Reno bullpen. Daniel Stange (2-0) earned his second win of the season, allowing just the Conger home run in two innings of work.

Daniel Davidson started for the Bees, allowing six early runs before settling down to throw six innings, striking out four. Bobby Cassevah (0-1) was tagged with the loss for Salt Lake after allowing the game-winning run in the ninth.

Reno finishes its season-opening homestand at 4-4, as it hits the road for an eight-game road trip to Sacramento and Fresno. Friday night's game features Aces RHP Billy Buckner (0-1, 12.60 ERA) against Sacramento RHP Kyle Middleton (0-0, 5.40 ERA).

First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. at Raley Field, and can be heard live in Reno on Fox Sports Radio 1450 AM.

The Aces return home Saturday, April 24 for a four-game series against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox. Tickets for all Aces games start at just $7, and are available by calling the Reno Aces box office at (775) 334-7000 or by visiting RenoAces.com.
