RENO, Nev.- Ryan Roberts and Ed Rogers combined for seven hits as Reno exploded for a season-high 10 runs, defeating Sacramento 10-7 Sunday afternoon at Raley Field.

Sacramento jumped out to a 1-0 lead heading into the fourth inning, but the Reno offense exploded for 10 runs over the next three innings and held on for the win. Mark Hallberg's two-run double in the fourth put Reno ahead for good, and Ed Rogers tacked on a run with an RBI-single in the fifth. Six of Reno's 10 runs were unearned, as the River Cats made three errors on the afternoon to help the Aces offense.

Kevin Mulvey started for Reno, tossing 4.2 innings to earn a no-decision. Daniel Stange (3-0) picked up his league-leading third win of the season by throwing 1.1 innings of relief, and T.J. Beam pitched a perfect ninth to earn his first save of the season.

Vin Mazzaro (1-1) took the loss for the River Cats after big-leaguer Michael Wuertz started and threw one inning in a rehab start.

Roberts went 4-for-4 with a double and two RBIs-just a day after a three-hit night against the Cats-before leaving the game in the seventh after suffering an ankle injury. Rogers (3-for-5) and Yunesky Sanchez (2-for-5) added multi-hit games for Reno, which out-hit the River Cats 14-10 on the afternoon.

Reno and Sacramento conclude their four-game series Monday evening, with Aces RHP Cesar Valdez (0-1, 4.22 ERA) taking the mound against Sacramento RHP Graham Godfrey (0-0, 3.38 ERA). First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. from Raley Field, and all the action can be heard on Fox Sports Radio 1450 AM in Reno.

Reno returns home on Saturday, April 24, to face the Colorado Springs Sky Sox at 7:05 p.m. Tickets start at just $7, and are available by calling the Reno Aces box office at (775) 334-7000 or by visiting RenoAces.com
