The Douglas County Public Library is looking for volunteers to help at the children's desk during the summer.
Help is needed signing up children for the summer reading program and issuing prizes to readers. Detail-oriented adults with experience working with children are desired. Training will be provided and flexible schedules accommodated.
Volunteers may attend training 6:30 p.m. May 17 or 4 p.m. May 18. Interested adults should sign up by May 15 with Kathy Echavarria or Maria Pearson at 782-9841. The library is at 1625 Library Lane in Minden. Information, douglas.lib.nv.us
