More than 400 people showed up to root on their favorite at the annual Mr. DHS pageant, a fundraiser for Safe and Sober Grad Night.

The 14 students competed in five categories: talent, swimsuit, pickup line, and formal wear with an on-stage question.

The event was organized by the high school leadership class.

Preston Winkelman was named Mr. DHS after performing an original song, "What Is This."

Each contestant must deliver a pickup line. Winkelman put his arm around Haley von Schottenstein and asked her "If you were a pirate would you put your parrot on this shoulder, or this one?"

Scotty Lococo was named Mr. Congeniality. He sang "Pure Imagination" from "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" while distributing candy to the audience.

Corbin Zumpft played the theme song from "The Office" on the piano.

When asked what he would do with $1 million, Sam Vernaza replied that he would give it to "Charity, Haiti and orphans."

The contestants are Zumpft, Kevin Quenga, Vernaza, Michael Sepulveda, Thomas Wicker, Logan McNeil, Miguel Pina, Beau Battista, Edgar Arceo, Justin Uhart, Winkelman, Luis Pina-Duarte, Lococo and Lucas Peterson.
