The R-C Morning Report

The sun might come out sometime this morning, but right now we've got some pretty thick fog on the west side of the Valley. The National Weather Service says it's going to be this way until 8 a.m. at least.

There are a couple of non-injury accidents along the commute to Reno, including one in the northbound lanes of Highway 395 just north of the county line, a road hazard at Highway 395 and Arrowhead in the northbound lanes and a minor accident at Highway 395 and the Mount Rose Highway. There are still a few road controls out there, including the Mount Rose Highway and the west shore of Lake Tahoe, but nothing in Douglas County.

Attendance was good at last night's Business Showcase. We'll have a full report up later today.

The weekend forecast is pretty nice, with the next storm not arriving until Tuesday. Expect a high temperature of 66 degrees today, sunny with a high near 73 on Saturday and pretty much the same thing on Sunday.
