EDITOR:
I am writing this letter in regards to my daughter who is one of the students who attends Sierra Crest Academy. She has been a student there since the eighth grade and she would be one of the graduating students providing the school could remain open.
My daughter has auto processing dyslexia and at the Douglas County public schools she was not eligible for any kind of special help. If SCA is closed where will she get the help she needs?
Right now she is progressing nicely. Honestly, I really don't know at this time where my daughter will finish her last year of school.
Please help us keep our school open for our students who need and want an education.
