Women Entrepreneurs meet May 27

The Carson Valley Chapter of Women Entrepreneurs of The World's monthly group meeting is 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 27 at the Carson Valley Inn, 1627 Highway 395 N, Minden. The group meets on the fourth Thursday each month for networking, lunch and a guest speaker.

This month's speakers are Jeanette K. Belz, of JK Belz and Associates and Margaret M. Crowley, who speak on the benefits of mediation, with an emphasis on elder care mediation. The goal of elder care mediation is to promote better communication and workable solutions by involving the senior and concerned family members in the decision making process in a thoughtful way.

Belz holds a Masters in Business Administration. She is a trained facilitator, with more than 150 hours of mediation training, including advanced mediation techniques, elder care, divorce and foreclosure mediation.

Crowley has been licensed to practice law in Nevada since 1991. She has more than 100 hours of mediation training, including specialized training in advanced mediation techniques, elder care and foreclosure mediation.

The monthly WE meetings are open for all to attend. Cost is $15 for WE members, $20 for guests. RSVPs are requested by Thursday, May 20. Those who attend without an RSVP are charged $5 extra at the door.
