The Town of Genoa's Old Time Music Festival features live music, children's activities, and food and craft booths is 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.
The American roots event features music by the Country Valley Jug Stompers, Quake City Jug Band, Large Bills Accepted, Acoustic Solution, Miss Lonely Hearts, Wild Horse Drive and Hot Club de Renaux. Special appearance by Banjo Hall of Fame member Georgette Twain and her daughter, violinist Cecilia Yale.
The Genoa Fire Department hosts a pancake breakfast 8:30-11 a.m. Cost is $5.
All day activities include games and fun for children with Cindy Webb the Bubble Fairy, face-painting and children's music workshops at noon and 2 p.m. with Chris Bayer from Large Bills Accepted.
Food and beverage vendors include La Ferme, Genoa Country Store, Margarita Man, and Olle Juice.
The Old Time Music Festival is funded by the Town of Genoa and by a grant from the Nevada Arts Council, a division of the Department of Cultural Affairs, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
