EDITOR:
On Aug. 21, I had a flat tire on Centerville Lane, between Waterloo and Dresslerville. While waiting for a tow truck, several people stopped to see if I needed help. These helpful neighbors ranged in ages and included a member of the East Fork Fire District and a Douglas County deputy sheriff. I'd like to take this opportunity to say thank you to each of them for your concern and offer of assistance. Only in a small community like ours do you find such neighborly people. I hope that never changes.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Silver State Towing. Because I didn't have a spare, Rich put air in my tire and then followed me to Les Schwab to make sure nothing else happened.
Thank you, everyone.
