The Douglas High ski team got off to a solid start last week at Alpine Meadows, posting a sixth-place finish in the combined standings.
The Douglas girls' took seventh, despite only having two racers finish.
Kelsey Lalonde took 19th and Cara Dunkelman placed 21st.
The Tiger boys finished fifth, ahead of Incline and Carson.
Brock Crawford was 22nd, Nolan Lackey was 27th, freshman Trent DeGiovanni was 28th, Roy Reagan was 29th, Cody Carter was 37th and Sam Taylor was 38th.
Freshman Grant Dunkelman was 23rd after the first run but had a ski pop off on his second trip down the mountain, negating his score for the day.
Fellow freshman Rebecca Valentine crashed on her first run but was cleared with a bruised right shoulder. She was able to return to the mountain to cheer on her teammates for the second run.
