Debra Anne Roberts

A celebration of life is 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Crossroads Church, 1788 Pinenut Road, Gardnerville, for Debra Anne Roberts of Gardnerville.

She died Feb. 1 at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center from cancer. Ms. Roberts was 48.

She was born May 26, 1961, in California to Patricia and Dean Smith.

Ms. Roberts opened Lasting Impressions beauty salon in Gardnerville in 2004. Prior to that, she worked at the Hair Cottage.

She is survived by her parents, brother Les Smith, sister Cheryl Lewis and friend Bob Wiitala, all of Arkansas; daughter Kira Roberts of Gardnerville, son Ian Roberts of Sparks, and friend Joanne Fecteau of Gardnerville.

Pastor Leo Kruger will officiate at the service Tuesday, followed by a reception.

Capital Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
