Beatrice "Aunt Bea" Fettic Jones visited a lot of places during her century of living, but she always came back to the home of her birth, Carson Valley. Today she finds her final home in a Mottsville Cemetery, which is named after her pioneer family. Carson Valley gets to say its final goodbye 11 a.m. today at the Carson Valley United Methodist Church in Gardnerville.

It rained last night, and you can expect to rain today, according to the National Weather Service. Forecasters say there's an 80 percent chance of rain or and snow showers before 10 a.m., then a chance of rain between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The snow level is supposed to be at 5,400 feet. The wind's already blowing this morning. Gusts today are supposed to hit 20 mph.
