Police are looking for a man who robbed the Wells Fargo bank inside of the Raley's Supmarket at the "Y" on Wednesday.

About 11:20 a.m., the man, who police described as being in in 40's or 50's, handed a bank teller a note demanding cash, said Detective Jeff Roberson at the scene.

The teller complied and the man fled on foot.

The man made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, Roberson said.

"He was in and out of here pretty quick," Roberson said.

A weapon was not used in the robbery.

Police tape surrounded the teller stations and employees at the store were redirecting customers after the robbery. Automatic teller machines at the bank were still available to customers around noon.

The man was wearing a cream-colored ski parka, with the hood drawn around his face at the time of the robbery, Roberson said.

He was described as white or Hispanic, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with beard stubble and a full mustache.

Surveillance footage was taken of the incident and will be released as soon as appropriate Roberson said.
