Douglas County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 24-year-old South Lake Tahoe man on suspicion of selling fake drugs at a Stateline club on Feb. 1.
Following a report of drug sales at Cabo Wabo Cantina and Mexican Restaurant, deputies stopped the man outside of the club around 1:15 a.m., according to a deputy's report. Deputies allegedly found seven bindles containing a white powdery substance on the man.
The substance tested negative for both cocaine and methamphetamine, according to the report.
The man said he found a plastic bag containing the bindles on the floor at Horizon Casino Resort. He said he thought the substance in the bindles was baking powder or crushed up pills, according to the report.
