Mile High Jazz presents 'Coming and Going' on March 9

The Mile High Jazz Band and vocalist Sheryl Adams will be joined by award-winning poets for "Coming and Going," an evening of big-band jazz music and poetry, 8-10 p.m. March 9 at Comma Coffee, 312 S. Carson St., Carson City. Admission is $5, and free for age 18 and younger.

Dance instruction from 6-7:15 p.m. is $5 additional.

"The coming and going theme in all its dimensions alternates poetry readings and music, and the audience discovers the connections," said David Bugli, leader and pianist for the Mile High Jazz Band.
