Augustus "Bud" Pratt

Gardnerville resident Augustus (Bud) Pratt, 81, died Feb. 14, 2010, in Gardnerville.

Born Jan. 8, 1929, in San Francisco to Augustus and Margarett Pratt, he lived in San Leandro and was a union business agent with the Teamster Local 70 until his retirement in 1987, when he retired to Carson Valley with his wife, Gloria.

Mr. Pratt is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and son Richard Pratt.

He is survived by wife Gloria; sons Chuck (Marsha) Pratt of Gardnerville, Gary (Pam) Pratt of San Ramon, Calif., and John Pratt, San Leandro, Calif.; daughter Carolyn (Jim) Escorio, San Leandro, Calif.; and sisters Florence and Bobby.

At his request, no services will be performed.
