Douglas Democrats' monthly meeting is scheduled for Thursday at 1513 Hwy. 395, Gardnerville. A social begins at 6:30, with the meeting starting promptly at 7 p.m.
Guest speaker is Jan Gilbert with Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada, discussing mining paying their fair share. Also speaking will be Dave Olosenick with Organizing for America.
