The Douglas High boys' basketball team remained perfect on the Sierra League season, not to mention against Northern Nevada opponents, with a 79-49 win at Galena Saturday night.
Austin Neddenriep led the Tigers with 18 points in the win, although Douglas had balanced scoring from the remainder of the roster.
The Tigers trailed by eight after the first quarter but held a slight lead going into halftime.
They extended the lead with an 8-0 run out of the locker room and cruised from there.
"We had a really great third quarter and really had good effort throughout the game," Douglas coach Corey Thacker said. "It was a good win. Galena is a great team."
