While significantly down compared to last November's numbers, Stateline's gaming win flattened out compared to October, according to figures released by the state on Tuesday.

Stateline casinos raked in $15.9 million during November 2009, down 26.7 percent compared to the same month last year. However, the take was a slight increase over October's win.

Stateline is the primary source of Douglas County gaming revenues.

The game and table win in Stateline was down nearly 43 percent for the month, partly because of a reduction in the number of table games at two of Stateline's casinos.

Casinos located in Carson Valley and Carson City, which are combined for state reporting purposes, took in $7.46 million, which was the lowest for 2009.

Statewide, sfter 22 months of decline, Nevada casinos posted a 4.35 percent increase in gaming win in November - a total of $873.2 million.

Gaming Control Board Analyst Frank Streshley said almost all the credit for the increase is attributable to Baccarat which increased 138 percent compared with November 2008 and accounted for $94.2 million of the total. Many of those players, he said, were drawn to the state by the Pacquiao/Cotto fight at the MGM in Las Vegas.

Without Baccarat, game and table win was actually down with 21, craps and poker all posting declines compared to the previous November. Slots too were down, albeit by just 1.6 percent.

Streshley said it also helped the that this November was comparing to a very soft month a year ago when win was down nearly 15 percent. In addition, he said there was one more weekend day this November than last.
