Firefighters are responding to a two-alarm fire at 3529 Silverado Drive in Jacks Valley.
The fire was called out at 9:39 a.m. Personnel onscene responding to the blaze say they have one person with minor smoke inhalation. Flames are visible, according to firefighters.
Carson units are responding to the blaze.
According to initial reports, the fire started in the garage. The home's resident entered the home a couple of times.
Deputies are closing roads in the vicinity to make way for fire apparatus.
Units from Sunridge and Genoa are responding to the blaze. A reporter and photographer from The Record-Courier are en route to the scene.
