James McLaughlin, fr., G, Sonoma State: Red-shirting. The Seawolves lost to Poly Pomona and San Bernardino last week.

Nick Lonnegren, sr., G, Chico State: Chico State beat UC San Diego 77-68 and Cal State East Bay 68-53 last week. Lonnegren played but did not score in the East Bay game.

Angela Nelson, soph., Elmira College (junior varsity): Next game is Jan. 16 against Penn State.

Nick Cohee, soph., Utah: Cohee took seventh in the giant slalom at the season-opening Utah Invitational on Monday with a time of 1:57.01. He took 22nd in the slalom the following day.

Shawn Estes, P, free agent: Estes, who went 3-2 with a 3.00 ERA with the Dodgers' Triple-A club last year, is among 30 free agents pitchers on the market heading into 2010. His name has been linked to several teams, including the Brewers and the Mets, mostly in opinion columns and blogs.
