Slick roads are responsible for at least one accident in Carson Valley this morning.
Deputies responded to a non-injury accident at Kimmerling Road and Country Lane at 6:57 a.m. They reported icy conditions that resulted in a couple of vehicles off the road.
Kimmerling is one of the main commuter routes from the Gardnerville Ranchos.
This morning, most state roads are plowed, but there's still a layer of ice.

A winter weather advisory has been issued for 1-10 p.m. today by the National Weather Service as the last in a series of storms rolls through Western Nevada today and tonight.
According to the weather service, snow is forecast to start falling late this afternoon or early this evening, possibly affecting the evening commute. New snow accumulations of up to 6 inches are possible for parts of Carson Valley.
Winds will be southeast 10-20 mph with gusts of up to 35 mph.
The weather service is warning that roads could be slick, with ice developing on bridges and overpasses first.
A winter storm warning is in effect for Mono County.
Wednesday's storm saw two bursts of energy one around noon and the other around 6 p.m. that dropped heavy wet snow in Carson Valley.
The first blast dropped about a half inch of snow that quickly melted. The second blast occurred just after 6 p.m. and left as much as 2 inches of snow in Carson Valley northwest of Gardnerville.
Markleeville reported 3-4 inches of new snow by 4:11 p.m. Heavy snow and wind forced the California Highway Patrol to close Highway 395 between Mammoth Lakes and the Nevada state line.
Coleville reported receiving 10 inches of new snow during the day.
