New exhibit opens Sunday at BAC gallery

Nevada Artists Association's exhibition of the works of local and regional member artists in fine paintings, photography, sculpture, glass, pottery and hand crafted jewelry at runs Sunday through Aug. 20 at the Brewery Arts Center, 449 W. King St., Carson City. 

Also featured is the NAA's annual landscape show, where member artists create use individual interpretation and creativity to create a painting from a provided landscape photo. The landscape paintings are exhibited on the gallery's back wall.

NAA potter Lori Nourse presents a free demonstration on materials, design and finishing that goes into creating fine pottery, 1 p.m. July 13, in the gallery at the Brewery Arts Center.
