A flash flood watch for central Douglas County expired at about 9:10 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorm just south of the Gardnerville Ranchos that dumped 1.5 inches of rain at about 8:03 p.m.
A second cell was centered over the Pine Nut Mountains and was moving north toward the Carson City Line.
Most of the rain fell in the vicinity of Mud Lake in southern Douglas County. There was minor street flooding at Kimmerling Road and Tillman Lane in the Ranchos.
