EDITOR:
In as much as I like people and pets, I am beginning to think if the people were to walk barefooted just like their pets do; they would think twice when they take their pets to the farmers market, or the craft fairs.
The wonderful pets that we want to show off, cannot tell us when their feet are burning up from the hot pavement; so it is up to the people to show some thought to if they were not wearing shoes would they be there?
I am amazed to see the lack of concern these pet owners show many of us.
Think twice and if you cannot carry your pet, just because you want to bring Fido along, then leave the pet home where he or she can be more comfortable.
People should be fined plenty for being thoughtless.
