Frontier Communications has announced Kevin Ancell as the new local manager for Gardnerville.
Ancell is responsible for managing customer service, community and employee relations, operations, engineering, construction, and sales for all of Frontier's markets in Nevada. These include Elko and Tonopah, where Kevin has served as local manager for the past two years. New to Gardnerville, Frontier completed its acquisition of Verizon assets on July 1.
"Customers rely on Frontier to provide technology-driven services that keep them connected to the world," said State Vice President and General Manager Becky Potts, who is responsible for managing the Frontier-Verizon integration and ensuring the delivery of communications services to more than 200,000 customers in Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah as well as Needles, Calif. and surrounding areas. "Kevin understands the importance of delivering value-enhanced, reliable services and has a proven record of strong customer advocacy and community involvement, which make him an ideal 'face of Frontier' in Gardnerville."
Ancell has an extensive background in account management, commercial sales and community relations. Prior to his position as local manager, he was enterprise account executive for Frontier's Mountain States territory, responsible for account management and sales. He also served as a consultant for Jicarilla Apache Nation and held executive-level positions with Valor Telecom in New Mexico and Onthe.Net, LLC, a regional Internet service provider in Missouri.
Frontier Communications offers voice, high-speed Internet, and satellite video a la carte and bundled services, among other products and services.
