A Johnson Lane woman reported the theft Sunday afternoon of a $500 bicycle from in front of her garage on Chiquita Circle.
The victim said the bicycle, a gray Trek mountain bike with white and black lettering, was in front of the garage while she and her husband left to go to the dump.
When she returned, the bicycle was missing. She said she drove around the neighborhood, but was unsuccessful in locating the bicycle.
