Movies in the park July 30

The fifth season of Gardnerville's free movies in the park continues July 30 with Hitchcock's "North by Northwest" in Heritage Park, one block east of Highway 395 off Gilman Avenue. Movies begin at dusk. Bring a picnic or enjoy food available for sale by vendors. The next movie is Disney's "Bolt" on Aug. 20. 'Once Upon a Mattress' opens July 30

'Summer on Broadway' July 30-31

Wild Horse Children's Theater Summer on Broadway 2010 production of audience participation mystery, "Nick Tickle, Fairy Tale Detective," is 7 p.m. July 30, and 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. July 31 at the Children's Museum of Northern Nevada in Carson City.
