The Silver State Model T Ford Club hosts a Henry Ford birthday party and car show, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 31, at Mills Parks Pony Express Pavilion in Carson City.
Owners of all pre-1979 Ford production cars and trucks, Mercurys, Edsels, Lincolns, T-Birds, Mustangs and even tractors are encouraged to participate. Original and restored vehicles are encouraged as is era clothing. You must register to display a vehicle, but anyone can attend to view the show at no cost.
The registration fee for those displaying Ford-manufactured products is $15 per car.
The Silver State Model T Ford Club is made up of Model T Ford enthusiasts from Western Nevada and Eastern California.
"Whether your car is running, is a project car or you're just interested in Model T's, we welcome your attendance at our monthly meetings," said club member Wendell Newman. "Our members help each other with restoration questions and get together for regular activities to learn more about their T's and to have fun with these century-old cars."
