Woman arrested after Kingsbury accident

A Stateline woman was arrested after an accident on Kingsbury Grade Wednesday afternoon.

Tina Marie Sleeman, 44, was booked into Douglas County Jail for driving under the influence after she allegedly crossed the centerline midway up the Valley side of Kingsbury at about 2 p.m.

According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, Sleeman was westbound on Kingsbury in a 1996 green Ford Explorer when collided with an eastbound 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche.

The left side of the Explorer and the left side of the Avalanche scrapped against one another.

The driver of the Avalanche, Sparks resident Greg Scyphers, reported a neck injury. Neither driver was transported for medical treatment.

Firefighters from the East Fork Fire & Paramedic Districts and Tahoe Douglas Fire Districts responded to the accident.
