More than 90 members of E. Clampus Vitus and bystanders watched the dedication of a plaque at the Genoa Community Church on Saturday.
The occasion was the 100th anniversary of the church's rebuilding after the 1910 fire that claimed most of the town.
Humbug Tom Reese talked about the church's history and presented a check to Genoa Town Board Chairman Brian Williams.
Board member Karen Holmes said the money would go to work on the church.
Clampers from as far away as San Diego attended the dedication, but most were from the Snowshoe Thompson, Julia C. Bulette and Chief Truckee chapters of the group.
Reese said it was the organization's intention to be more involved with Genoa, which is Nevada's oldest settlement.
