Auditions for the Carson Valley Community Theatre's fall production of "Perfect Wedding" are 6:30-8:30 p.m. June 23 at in the upstairs ballroom at Sharkey's in Gardnerville.

Casting is for two men and four women. Call-backs are 6:30-8:30 p.m. June 25.

"Perfect Wedding" is written by Robin Hawdon and directed by Lucille Rao. Show dates are Sept. 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26.

Show synopsis: A man wakes up in the bridal suite on his wedding morning to find an extremely attractive girl in bed beside him. In the depths of a stag night hangover, he can't remember meeting her. Before he can get her out, his bride-to-be arrives to dress for the wedding and, in the ensuing panic, the girl is locked in the bathroom. The best man is persuaded to claim her, but he gets confused and introduces the chamber maid to the bride as his date. The crisis escalates by the time the mother of the bride and the best man's girlfriend arrive. This combination of farce and love story has provoked waves of laughter across Europe and America.
