Bail was set at $103,000 for a 23-year-old Gardnerville man accused of the sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl he allegedly touched inappropriately while giving her a tattoo.

Levi Wood-Duran is to appear in East Fork Justice Court this morning. He is accused of assaulting the girl during a tattoo session May 30.

He has been in Douglas County Jail since his arrest June 2.

According to reports, Wood-Duran is not licensed to give tattoos and did not have permission from the victim's mother to give her the tattoo.

The girl's mother found out about the tattoo from a neighbor who alleged Wood-Duran had been tattooing other minors in a Gardnerville apartment complex.
