A memorial service is 1 p.m. Sunday for Gardnerville resident Jerome Thomas Steinbuck, 64, who died May 23, 2010.
Born Sept. 13, 1945, in Evanston, Ill., to John and Jane W. Steinbuck, he lived in South Lake Tahoe before moving to Gardnerville.
He served in the U.S. Army after graduating from high school. He was a mechanic, who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Mary in 2002.
He is survived by his son Skip (Heather) Steinbuck; daughter Dawn (Mark) Lund; brothers John (Sandy) and Charles (Billie); sisters Carol (Paul) and Barbara (Edward); five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
