Dance Workshop presents Cinderella story June 21-22 in Carson

The Dance Workshop's production of "The Clock Strikes Twelve" is 7 p.m. June 21 and 22 at the Bob Boldrick Theater in the Carson Community Center.

A spoof on the classic Cinderella story, "The Clock Strikes Twelve" is a tale of an African Prince who needs to find a bride, or lose his kingdom. He comes to Carson City to host a '50s sock hop and find the girl of his dreams.

The show features 175 dancers from 3 to 50 years performing ballet, tap, jazz, ballroom and contemporary style. The show is filled with familiar, toe-tapping tunes and appeals to an audience of all ages.
