Vendors are wanted for the Town of Genoa's second annual Old Time Music Festival on Aug. 14 as part of Genoa's Summer Concerts in the Park series.

The free, day-long celebration of American roots music features live music in the Genoa Town Park from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Scheduled to perform are Country Valley Jug Stompers, Quake City Jug Band, Large Bills Accepted, Acoustic Solution, Miss Lonely Hearts, Hot Club de Renaux and Wild Horse Drive.

Organizers of the event are seeking food, information and arts and crafts vendors with an old time music theme. Booth fees are $25 to $30 for a 10-by-10-foot booth, plus $15 if electricity is needed. Fees received after July 16 are $5 more. Vendors must provide table and booth supplies, tents or canopies.

Vendor booth applications available at the Genoa Town Office, 782-8696.

The Old Time Music Festival received a 2011 Nevada Arts Council Grants Program Award. Additional funding by private donors would be appreciated.
