A California man was arrested for felony driving under the influence in Stateline early Sunday morning.
Glenn Worcester, 40, drove past a patrol car in a Ford Escort eastbound on Highway 50 allegedly exceeding the 25 mph speed limit and then coming to an abrupt stop at 50 and Lake Parkway, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
A deputy reported smelling alcohol on Worcester's breath after a traffic stop.
After failing a field sobriety test, a preliminary breath test revealed Worcester had a .10 blood alcohol content, slightly over the legal limit. A background check revealed Worcester and two previous DUI convictions in the last seven years.
