The injured driver in a June 11 accident at Highway 88 and Centerville Lane said he remembers very little of what happened.

According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, Eric Reimann, 42, pulled out from the stop sign at the intersection and was struck by a 1986 Ford pickup driven by Gardnerville resident Eli Moya.

Reimann said he didn't remember seeing the pickup prior to the collision.

"I don't remember a thing," he said in an e-mail to The Record-Courier.

Riemann said he suffered from broken and bruised ribs, a punctured lung and soreness.

"God bless East Fork for getting there so quickly, and CareFlight for getting me to Reno," he said. "Angels are among us."

Reimann said he believes there should be a light at the intersection.

"In a week I've had dozens of people relate their terror of that very intersection," he said. "It is dicey to say the least and bound with our growth to get dicier."
