World War II veteran Harold Lloyd Friesen, 87, died June 25, 2010, in Gardnerville.
Born March 18, 1923, in California to Benjamin and Gertrude Friesen, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a truck driver.
Mr. Friesen is survived by sons Lenney and Rodney; daughters Beverley Bishop and Noralee Stewart; daughter-in-law Deborah Marks; and grandchildren Bryan Bishop, Tracy Bishop, Rodney Friesen Jr., Amber Friesen, Myles Friesen, Brandi Friesen and Mendy Smith.
Cremation will take place at FitzHenry's Crematory. Arrangements are in the care of FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home.
