The weekend was full of competitions as Sierra-at-Tahoe hosted three super pipe events for USASA.
Snowboarders and skiers were able to come out and show off their tricks to try and prove themselves on the road to the national championships.
"Sierra really stepped it up getting the half pipe ready despite the foot and a half of snow the night before," stated coach Travis Chatwin.
Athletes sweeping the weekend included Cesar Rodriguez (Open Skier Men), Jessica Brackett (Girls 7 & under), Tony Piccinonno (Boys 7 & under), Nora Anderson (Girls 10-11), Taylor Chatwin (Girls 12-13), Alec Bowman (Skier Men 13-15), Jessica Benefiel (Girls 14-15), Lexi Hooper (Girls 16-17) and Marco Gooding (Boys 16-17).
Other top results included Vinny Piccinonno (boys 7 & under) and Matthew Jones (Boys 14-15) both taking three silvers. Sloan Niccoli (Skier Boys 9 & under) and Zennon Chatwin (Boys 8-9) both earned two golds and a bronze while Tyler Wattanachinda (Skier boys 9 & under), Josh Brackett (Boys 8-9) and Mason Niehoff (Boys 12-13) all received two silvers and a gold.
David Reigel (Boys 10-11) and Liam Loftis (Boys 12-13) both had an outstanding weekend walking away with two gold's and silver while Lukias Cook took a first, second and third place. Cosmo Murphy also did great earning two gold's.
