Soccer team fundraising dinner March 12

The Sierra Tahoe Soccer Club Elements United girl's soccer teams host a spaghetti feed fundraiser, 5:30-8 p.m. March 12, at the CVIC Hall in Minden. Tickets are $7 each or $20 for a family of 4. Raffle tickets are $1 each. Purchase tickets at Especially for You, 1218 Eddy St., Gardnerville. Information, 782-1966.

Dinner is spaghetti with homemade sauce, salad, bread and beverages. Raffle and silent auction items from Red Hut Waffles, Steamers Bar and Grill, Ernie's Coffee Shop, Driftwood Cafe, Silver Strike Bowling Lanes, JT Basque Bar & Dining Room, A Wildflower, Especially for You, Pizza Factory, Creative Memories by Kerri, Cards by Nicole, Tumbleweeds, Centerfield Sports Bar, Carson Valley Golf Course, Sierra Feed, Casino Fandango, Rude Brothers and Harveys/Harrah's.

Since 2005, the Elements have provided players with training from a nationally accredited staff without charging players monthly fees. The club relies on fundraising to keep costs down for tournaments, uniforms and training equipment.
