A light dusting of snow fell in parts of the Valley last night, which might be enough to make the roads a little slick down here. In the mountains there are road restrictions around the Lake and over the passes. Chains or snow tires are required over Kingsbury and along Highway 50 from Glenbrook to Stateline.

It's a big day for the Douglas County School Board with two major issues before trustees, including the search for a new superintendent and review of a facilities plan with consultant MGT. Trustees meet starting at 3:30 p.m. at Douglas High School. The plan presentation will start no later than 5 p.m. Review of 17 superintendent applications starts at 6 p.m.

Planning commissioners have a light meeting today to discuss a year extension for the C.O.D. Garage project. They meet 1 p.m. in the Douglas County Administrative Building, 1616 Eighth St.

We're supposed to have another burst of moisture tonight after 10 p.m. Today's forecast is for partly sunny skies with high in the low 40s. It will be a bit blustery with winds between 10-15 mph.
