The Nevada Highway Patrol just cleared a property damage accident in the northbound lanes of Highway 395 and Plymouth at 7:08 a.m. That accident was first reported at 5:41 a.m.
At 6:36 a.m. there was a property damage accident in the southbound lanes of Highway 395 at Spooner Junction. There was a hit and run accident at Arrowhead Drive and Centennial Park Drive in Carson City.
The Nevada Highway Patrol is working a dozen accidents on Interstate 80 and two on Interstate 580.
Chains or snow tires are being required on Highway 395 north of Minden and south of Gardnerville. Kingsbury Grade and Highway 50 at Lake Tahoe also are requiring chains or snow tires.
