United Methodist Chancel Choir performs two holiday programs

The Chancel Choir of Carson Valley United Methodist Church presents "Lenten Sketches" by Joseph M. Martin, 7 p.m. Good Friday, April 2.

"Lenten Sketches" traces the events of Holy Week, culminating in the Crucifixion. Those attending Good Friday service may place written prayers on a wooden cross made from the church's Christmas tree.

The Chancel Choir and Hand Bells present Easter music at the 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. services Sunday, April 4. Carson Valley United Methodist Church is at 1375 Centerville Lane, Gardnerville.
