A man accused of threatening to kill several Gardnerville bar patrons is scheduled to appear in Douglas County District Court this morning to change his innocent plea in the case.

James A. Preston, 41, was set to go to trial after denying three counts of aggravated stalking.

He was arrested Jan. 9 by Douglas County deputies on his way to a bar after making several cell phone threats. Deputies found a machete in his vehicle.
